Victoria Biagi

Victoria Biagi is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Liverpool. Victoria holds a double Master of Science in Public Policy Analysis and Human Development awarded jointly by the United Nations University and Maastricht University. Her work mainly relates to political economy, urban and labor economics, and economic history, with a particular focus on the economics of crime. Her current work investigates how organized crime and the public policies aimed at combating it affect development outcomes, utilizing both georeferenced and historical data.
