Federico Masera is a political economist at the University of New South Wales. He studies the economic and cultural determinants of anti-social behavior. His papers investigate how state policies affect anti-social behavior like crime, religious extremism, support for terrorist organisations, and violence. He also explores the role of media and narratives in propagating anti-social behavior such as dishonesty, discrimination, and racial violence.
