Monica Beeder

Monica Beeder is a PhD candidate in Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and is affiliated with FAIR and Chr. Michelsen Institute. Her main research interests are development economics, conflict economics, and economics of crime. In her works, she investigates drug production and violence, ethnic conflict and discrimination, and the role of ethnic identities. Monica holds a BA in Political Economy and an MA in Economics from the University of Bergen.
