Jakub Lonsky is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS). Jakub received his B.A. from Berea College and M.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Pittsburgh in August 2019 and will be joining the University of Liverpool Management School as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics in September 2020. His research interests lie at the intersection of labor economics, crime, political economy, and health economics, with a particular emphasis on international migration and transnational organized crime.
