Lavinia Piemontese is a Marie Skłodowska-Cuire Fellow for the project FIBRE (FIrms’ Behaviour in Rough Environments). Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at ENS de Lyon. She holds a PhD from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and BSE. Her research has focus primarily on organised crime and civil conflict, with a special focus on firms. She studies these topics using a combination of structural econometrics techniques and panel data analysis methods and applying models from well-established literatures on misallocation and social network analysis into new contexts.
