New Researcher and Fellows at CLEAN: Zachary Porreca, Gema Lax Martínez and Massimo Pulejo

Zachary Porreca will work as a postdoctoral fellow at Bocconi's CLEAN, CRIME: LAW AND ECONOMIC ANALYSIS, starting from March. He is an applied microeconomist with interests in crime, corruption, law, and emergent institutions. More specifically, his recent work focuses on the interaction between violence, illicit markets, and the urban environment.

While, Gema Lax Martínez and Massimo Pulejo are two new research fellow of Bocconi's CLEAN Unit for the Economic Analysis of Crime.

Gema Lax Martínez  is a PhD candidate at the University of Lausanne and her research interests concern economic history and conflict.

Massimo Pulejo is a PhD Candidate at New York University and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Milan. His research focuses on the interactions between politicians and organized criminal groups and the causes and consequences of right-wing populism.
