26/04/2022
Thanks to a Marie Sklodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, Lavinia Piemontese will work for the next two years at Bocconi's CLEAN, CRIME: LAW AND ECONOMIC ANALYSIS, starting from November.
After completing her PhD at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Lavinia joined the ENS de Lyon as a Postdoctoral Fellow. She is an applied economist with a strong interest in political economy and development economics. Her research has focused primarily on organised crime and civil conflict.
More specifically, her focus is on firms and on how idiosyncratic distortions —affecting only a particular group of firms or economic sectors —propagate throughout the whole economy and shape aggregate outcomes.
